Desperate Housewives Spoilers : Almost everything Desperate has been leading up to tonight’s episode titled, Boom Crunch, in which a plane crashes on Wisteria Lane, just as the housewives are readying the neighborhood for their annual Christmas festivities.
Speculation of what would happen has been so great that even blogger Perez Hilton mistakenly identified images of a movie-set plane crash few months back. What more, rumors suggested that the plane will feature an Oceanic logo as a wink to another popular ABC series, LOST. However, such crossover was denied by Desperate Housewives creator, Marc Cherry.
While actual plot points for tonight’s episode are being guarded more securely than say a Presidential Dinner. Here are a few sups that discovered so far:
After being fired by Carlos (Ricardo Chavera), Lynette (Felicity Huffman) decides to follow through with suing him, which create her more tension with Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker). This escalates when the ladies are together singing Christmas carols for the neighborhood. During Silent Night performace, Lynette and Gaby argued.
Prior to the performance, the rest of the ladies know about Lynette’s pregnancy when they are all outside decorating the neighborhood for the holidays. When Bree (Marcia Cross) hears the news, she congratulates Lynette, which makes Gaby feel Bree is taking her side ahead.
The neighborhood decorating is also the scene of one of this week’s funniest moment when Lee asks the girls if he can join the their singing group, the Jingle Belles. Mrs. McCluskey (Kathryn Joosten) quickly denies him with, “No, we’re not the Jingle Balls.”. Haha..
Later in the episode, Susan (Teri Hatcher) decides to go hospital to visit Katherine (Dana Delany), knowing Mike (James Denton) had been with Katherine just moments before, she stabbed herself with a knife. The visit quickly turns bad when Katherine warns Susan saying Mike was the one who stabbed her.
In an effort to help Katherine, her daughter Dylan (Lyndsy Forseca) returns to her side. Another recent reunion, that of Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) and a former prison mate plays a pivotal role in tonight’s episode. Armed with photos of said reunion, Bree reveals her affair with Karl (Richard Burgi) to Orson and blackmail him with the photos if he doesn’t grant her a divorce.
Plane Crash on Desperate Housewives (Rumor)
According to the series creator Cherry, there will be two, maybe three fatalities linked to tonight’s crash. Some theory comes out, which is, in early sequence, the simpsons doctor warn him of some health issue, so obviously the victim is the pilot of the aircraft, Dan Castellaneta.
The remaining one or two victims are Bree or Lynette, who will probably be the most crash affected. There are also rumors that the plane was sent over Wisteria Lane by Karl, containing banners to confess his love to Bree. It would not be a surprise if the plane crashes into Bree’s house, with Orson inside.
Another possibility is that Lynette is hurt or traumatized by the crash and consequently looses one of her unborn children. Rumors about next season area already making their way onto the internet suggesting that Lynette gives birth to a child with special needs, so the crash could complicate her pregnancy. Of course it would help Angie (Drea de Matteo) and the rest of the Bolen family if recently seen housewife, Mona Clark (Maria Cominis) dies in the crash.
Just last week, after Danny (Beau Mirchoff) swallowed pills, he ended up in the hospital and with Mona care, who happens to be a nurse. He woke up while she was in the room and revealed that his name was actually Tyler. If Mona perishes in the crash, then Bolen’s won’t have to worry about leaving Wisteria Lane just yet.
So who will probably be the attacker?
Whoever attacked Julie (Andrea Bowen) would be to have them perish in the crash, with proof of the guilt coming out after their death.
As for the next ladies of Wisteria Lane, seems that Cherry will once again move ahead in time in the 2010 new episode. We presumably it as the result of crash trauma, the women of Wisteria Lane are said to have vision of the future. Unlike the five year jump between season 4 and season 5, the upcoming will take forward some 20 years in future. Gives us all something forward to when the show returns in this January 2010. Until then.
